The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) plan may not work out like he was expecting.

Things may spiral out of control and lead to some scary consequences for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), so let’s discuss how the situation might play out.

Y&R fans know Jack recently decided to turn the tables on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) by getting Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) on his side.

Although Patty was grateful for the yacht opportunity Victor offered her and the bag of money that followed, that doesn’t mean she’ll stay on his team.

Jack is hoping he can convince Patty to join his team instead.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) pushed Jack to let him take the lead on this Patty angle, but Jack may end up doing his own dirty work.

Y&R spoilers say Jack will switch it up with Patty in the May 14 episode, so that may be when he makes his big pitch.

Jack wants to hurt Victor by ruining any chance of Nikki taking him back.

Since Jack believes Nikki would be better off without Victor anyway, he’ll hope Patty can help destroy their marriage for good.

Unfortunately, Jack may be forgetting just how dangerous Patty can be.

To make matters worse, Patty has someone equally dangerous in her corner based on the alliance Patty struck up with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) in the May 12 episode.

Matt wants to fill in the blanks regarding his past, so Patty suggested maybe they could help each other out.

Once Patty discovers Matt’s grudge against the Newmans, she may try to jog his memory on that.

Patty may decide there’s a scenario where everybody wins here – at least in her eyes.

Perhaps Patty will lean into Jack’s scheme to permanently end Victor’s romance with Nikki and give Matt the satisfaction of making it happen.

Jack is obviously rooting for Victor and Nikki’s divorce, but Patty may determine that Nikki should face a grim fate.

From Patty’s perspective, Nikki may seem like more of a romantic threat than Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) at this point.

Patty wants Diane around for now since the more Diane pushes Jack away, the more Patty thinks she can use it to her advantage.

Nikki, on the other hand, is supplying the comfort that Patty would rather be providing to Jack.

That’s why Patty might recruit Matt to wipe Nikki off the map forever!

Jack may end up scrambling to stop Patty before it’s too late if he figures out her deadly intentions.
