The Young and the Restless The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, May 4, indicate that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get some information that she didn’t see coming. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also approve of Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk) plan, so here’s what Y&R has in store. At Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) place, Victoria will warn him about the emails that implicate Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

When Billy learns he’s included in those email conversations, he’ll lash out and wonder if Victoria’s really OK with this. Billy will feel like Victor is railroading Phyllis with bogus evidence and relishing the opportunity to make him collateral damage. Victoria will take umbrage when Billy basically acts like she’s a loyal Newman soldier who won’t stand up for him.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will walk in on all the fighting, so that’ll lead to Victoria spotting her new bling. Billy will confirm that they’re engaged and expecting a baby together, so that double shocker will throw Victoria for a loop. The baby news will seem like it affects Victoria’s view of Billy being tangled up in this whole email mess.

Once Victoria is gone, Billy will explain everything to Sally and plan to get to the bottom of whatever legal issues he might face. At Crimson Lights, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will catch Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) acting all seductive in Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) face. It’ll leave Kyle concerned, but Jack will privately fill his son in on his plan to use Patty to his advantage.

Kyle will worry about Jack playing with fire, so he’ll push his dad to concentrate on fixing things with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters). In the meantime, Kyle can move forward with Jack’s plan to use Patty against Victor. Jack will hope they can ensure that Victor and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) marriage is over permanently.

At the athletic club, Victor and Diane will clash once again, but Patty will be in a good mood when she arrives. Although Victor and Patty will put on a little show of pretending they’re just now catching up, Diane will know they’ve been scheming together. After Patty gloats about her connection to Jack growing deeper, Diane will get the last word in by suggesting Jack will always want her more.

Once Diane sashays away, Patty will delight Victor by insisting she plans to remain in town and keep Jack apart from Diane. At the park café, Nikki will talk to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) about potentially starting a nonprofit in Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) name now that Chancellor seems to be off the table. Nikki will also consider pitching in on Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) efforts to open a new version of The Shadow Room.

When Nikki hints about Claire taking over Chancellor herself, Claire won’t seem confident she’s ready for a position like that. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will eavesdrop and realize Chancellor’s future is being discussed, so she’ll quiz Nikki a bit. Nikki will make it clear that she’s not likely to make a comeback at Chancellor for multiple reasons.

When Nikki brings up Lily’s fake abduction with the twins, she’ll wonder what Victor offered her for all the trouble. Lily will claim it was just about knocking some sense into Cane and teaching him a lesson, so she won’t mention the Chancellor prize Victor promised. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki may find out Lily’s secret soon anyway, so stay tuned.
