The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Tuesday, May 12, reveals that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) wanted Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to do what he was told ASAP.

Things also got heated between Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) and Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom), so here’s how Tuesday’s B&B episode went down.

At Brooke’s place, she was delighted at the prospect of becoming Ridge’s co-CEO and demanded that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) be told today.

Since John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) morning meeting got pushed back, he brought Steffy coffee at the office and talked about her co-CEO status.

Finn played up how Steffy and Ridge were the “top dogs” as he gushed over his amazing wife.

Meanwhile, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) once again tried to convince Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) of the benefits of coming to work at Logan.

Liam also seemed skeptical about Ridge demoting his own daughter and sliding Brooke in Steffy’s spot.

However, Hope was counting on Brooke to be a game-changer at Forrester Creations and make it so she didn’t have to take orders from Steffy anymore.

Liam insisted Hope should leave Forrester if this plan doesn’t work out, but she remained hopeful about Brooke’s co-CEO push.

Once Hope met up with Brooke, she learned Ridge was off speaking to Steffy about the co-CEO switch.

Brooke was confident that the change would happen today.

At the Forrester mansion, Katie tried to get Donna chill out since no final decisions had been made about bringing Hope to Logan.

Donna was adamant that Katie couldn’t “poach” Hope, so that led to the argument escalating.

Katie assumed that was a dig about stealing Eric Forrester (John McCook), but he came to her – and Hope’s potential fashion house swap was Liam’s idea.

Katie also refused to apologize for using her own name to start her business since she was a Logan just as much as Donna and Brooke.

Donna kept pushing Katie to find her own people and maintained that she needed to hire anyone besides Hope!

At Forrester Creations, Steffy was playing hardball with someone over the phone when Ridge walked in, so she hinted about another lucrative deal being in the works.

Ridge eventually started talking about Brooke’s contributions to Forrester, so Steffy assumed this was about all the Hope for the Future drama.

Ridge admitted it was about Brooke wanting to be co-CEO.

Steffy initially thought Ridge meant all three of them would be co-CEOs together and basically laughed it off as a disastrous plan.

However, Steffy eventually wondered if Ridge was stepping down so Brooke could take his spot.

Ridge indicated that he wasn’t, so Steffy realized Ridge wanted her to step down so Brooke could be his co-CEO instead.

That news left Steffy aghast at what Ridge was asking of her.
