The Bold and the Beautiful The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Friday, May 8, reveals that Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) was deeply dismayed over Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) admission, while Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) made a pitch that stunned Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). At Forrester Creations, Ridge, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) all celebrated news on a major deal for the company. Carter played up how Ridge and Steffy were a dream team as co-CEOs.

Meanwhile, it took some convincing, but Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) was delighted when Brooke agreed to talk to Ridge about taking over Steffy’s co-CEO spot. Afterward on Friday’s B&B episode, Hope showed back up at Forrester Creations right as Steffy was about to head home. That brought more jabs and clashing, but Hope ultimately muttered to herself and hoped Steffy wouldn’t be Ridge’s co-CEO for long.

At Logan, Donna showed up with takeout and wondered about Katie’s plans now that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) debut collection was done. Katie hinted about an idea, but she made it clear Donna had to keep quiet – especially when it came to Brooke. Donna was hesitant about keeping secrets, but Katie couldn’t come clean if Donna didn’t promise not to tell.

Once Donna finally relented and took a vow of silence, Katie admitted she needed a fashion icon like Hope to take center stage. Donna gave Katie a “no freakin’ way” on that and clearly thought it was an awful suggestion since it’d infuriate Brooke. Back at Brooke’s place, she set a romantic mood and offered Ridge a drink when he came home to find her in lingerie.

Brooke wanted to be partners in all things and eventually worked her way up to confessing that she wanted to be co-CEO alongside Ridge. Although Brooke thought they could be the new Eric and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), Ridge immediately became uneasy. This was coming out of nowhere, so Ridge had questions and concerns.

Ridge wondered if Brooke expected him to fire Steffy, but Brooke suggested his daughter would be fine in another position at the company. As Brooke played herself up as the co-CEO everyone was rooting for, she felt that Ridge wanted this as well. Brooke pleaded with Ridge to tell her that he’d name her co-CEO and kissed him as part of her pitch.
