General Hospital Monday, May 11 Recap: Willow Races Home & Stops Drew’s Phone Call – Brennan Rushed to GH

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, May 11, reveals that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) found herself in a mad dash to make it back to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) after Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) was taken to GH for urgent treatment.

At the hospital, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) cornered Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) to ask about his healing hand and examined it briefly.

Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) could tell something was on Liz’s mind, but she didn’t share any Rocco-related drama.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) made up an excuse to visit Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house so she could see Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), but Carly admitted he was off dealing with Brennan.

Vengeful Charlotte was pleased over the news, but Carly made it clear that Charlotte still had to stay on guard or else she could end up in trouble like Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) barged in and confessed that he’d figured out Rocco shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

Dante was livid over Lulu’s secret, but she insisted “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) urged her to keep quiet after he helped Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) cover for Rocco.

Lulu voiced concerns since Rocco had already been beaten up in juvie after coming clean about the lab break-in.

Considering what happened with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) all those years ago, Lulu acted like she had reasons to worry about Dante trusting the justice system.

Dante hinted about learning from that experience and remained fearful for Rocco.

If Dante could figure out Rocco pulled the trigger, then Cullum could, too.

Dante remained outraged over Lulu having Rocco deceive him and didn’t know how they came back from a betrayal like this.

Rocco made it home after his community service, so Charlotte ultimately found him hanging out on the porch to avoid the drama between his parents.

Next, Brennan dropped to the floor after getting Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) injection.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) asked what was in the syringe, so Nina said it was Drew’s medication.

Nina wound up calling for paramedics while Valentin fled back to Carly’s place.

That’s where Valentin explained the injection situation and admitted double-crosser Nina had been aiming for him instead of Brennan.

Nina went with Brennan to GH, where Liz asked questions about what happened while he was being worked on.

Nina kept things vague and acted like Brennan collapsed out of nowhere, but she did admit Jack was always tense.

During a conversation with Lucas later, Liz acted suspicious over Brennan having a stroke in the same house where Drew had one just three months before.

While they were both out for a run, Willow bumped into Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and agreed to help him try to adopt Phoebe with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

Someone snapped pics of Chase and Willow’s warm moments in the distance.

Chase eventually got a cute text about Phoebe and headed home to spend time with her as well as Brook Lynn.

As for Willow, she got an alarming phone call from Nina, who hinted about Brennan taking something he shouldn’t and having a medical emergency.

By then, Nina had realized she’d left Drew alone, so she apologized to Willow for missing his weekly dose.

Willow raced home in a panic and made it just in time to stop Drew, who had his fingers on a nearby phone trying to call for help.

Willow got the phone out of Drew’s grasp and realized only she could be trusted to watch over him.

At the gallery, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had Ethan Lovett (Nathan Owens) drag Ava Jerome (Maura West) out to his SUV, where they bickered while Sonny continued to hold Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) at gunpoint.

Sonny insisted Ric had better explain fast and allowed Ric to retrieve a piece of art from his briefcase.

It was a gift for Elizabeth since it was by an artist she loved.

Ric said that the art sale had to be discreet since the guy selling it was trying to make money before he had to split everything in his nasty divorce.

Plus, Ric knew how Sonny felt about Ava, so he thought it was best to keep the agreement under wraps.

Sonny eventually lowered his gun and understood the situation.

Ric didn’t blame Sonny for thinking the worst of him under the circumstances, but they both hoped they could get to a place of true trust and loyalty.

As for Ava, Ric suggested it wouldn’t hurt to let her squirm with Ethan a little longer, so Sonny chuckled with his brother over that.

General Hospital spoilers say Ric and Sonny will keep trying to find a path forward as family, so stay tuned.
