The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that it’s been a hot minute since Amanda Sinclair has been seen in Genoa City.

With that said, her portrayer, Mishael Morgan, has been a busy bee as of late. The Daytime Emmy winner recently announced a brand-new venture – that she’s launching a production company. More details on this are below.

Morgan recently hopped on Instagram to share this update with her followers. She uploaded a screenshot of Playback’s article, which shows a photo of Morgan, with a headline announcing the launch of ‘Iron Spine Productions’.

In her caption, she writes, “New chapter. Deep breath. Let’s go. I have officially opened my production company.”

She adds, “It feels equal parts thrilling and terrifying in the best way. I’m still acting (always), but I’m also stepping into a space with more agency, more ownership, and more responsibility for the stories I help bring into the world.”

Morgan also noted in the IG caption that, “Launching this during Black History Month feels especially meaningful. It’s a reminder that the stories we tell, and who gets to tell them, matter.”

New Projects On The Horizon

Morgan also talked about the new ventures that are already underway for her production company.

She’s working on a project based on a book by Vanessa Riley that is linked to her Caribbean heritage and stories that honor this culture’s past.

Morgan also noted in the IG caption, “There are so many exciting things on the horizon. Stories that matter. Stories that challenge me. Stories that feel personal.”

As per her interview with Playback, this production company has been years in the making. In fact, while she was on The Young and the Restless, she shadowed producers and directors to learn as much as she could about behind-the-scenes stuff.
