Y&R Spoilers: Claire Chooses Kyle Or Holden By Spring?
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) wants to be treated with respect. She learned the hard way that living a lie has consequences and is determined not to connect with anyone who is duplicitous.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) still loves Claire with his whole heart. He likely will until Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is written back into the plot.
Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) loves Claire as well. Audra Cortes (Zuleyka Silver) can’t stand that. She’d like to break Holden of what she sees as a crush, but neither person who was involved in the accidental California murder might have a choice in this regard, depending upon how much Claire can unearth.
Kyle Abbott Hasn’t Given Up On Love
Claire never truly wrote Kyle off, and he knew it. While she was with Holden and became far more than friends, Erin’s character never got over Kyle.
Holden told Audra as much during a recent chat. She’d been trying to tell her co-conspirator in the accidental death that happened in The Shadow Room that Claire wasn’t right for him.
Kyle continued to stay in touch with Claire. He backed off after realizing that his trip to Los Angeles, California, where he trailed after her the first time she went there with Holden, was too much.
The patience Kyle exhibited during his days in the desert made an impression on Claire, with a wink to where Holden and Audra buried the body of the underworld figure who wanted to attack her.
Holden Novak Thinks It’s All Over
Holden defended Audra and could have been praised for it. All he had to do was contact the authorities after he punched that guy, who fell, hit his head, and accidentally died on the floor of Mitch Bacall’s (Roger Howarth) and Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) popular, seedy bar.
But Holden panicked, and Audra didn’t direct him otherwise. Her participation in not reporting the death and then helping Holden bury the body represented major crimes.
Viewers must think that some form of legal justice is approaching for Holden, Audra, or both. If so, Owens’ and Silvers’ characters could be written off to jail and out of the script.
Here’s hoping another alternative is created for both characters because the actors who play Holden and Audra have fit solidly into the cast since their arrivals.
Claire Newman Agrees To Truce In Theory
Claire is exhausted. She wanted to dig dirt on Audra and couldn’t do so.
Holden proved to be a disappointment because Claire thought he was a good guy who was foolishly protecting Audra and didn’t need to. Of course, Claire has no idea the depth of the crimes they committed.
So, the truce she and Audra agreed to feels temporary. Some other factor will need to surface, or a new element will need to be introduced into the storyline to revisit what happened several soapy years ago when Audra and Holden first met each other in LA.
In the meantime, Claire and Kyle appear open to exploring reconciliation. The love they share for each other never died, and so that outcome seems destined.
