The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of February 23-27 hint at some major moments in Genoa City.

Shemar Moore & Vivica A. Fox Returning

The internet exploded this week when news hit that Shemar Moore and Vivica A. Fox was returning to the soap opera.

They began filming this past Tuesday, February 17, and will appear in a multi-episode storyline starting in April. Moore is slated to reprise his Malcolm Winters character, while Fox will return as Dr. Stephanie Simmons.

Simmons appeared on the show, briefly from 1994-1995, and had a romance with Winters at the time. Meanwhile, Winters’ original run was from 1995 to 2005, although he did return in 2014, 2019, and 2023 for brief stints.

Malcolm has real roots in the little town as Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) biological father and the brother of the late Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).

In addition, fans know that Matt Clark is headed back to GC, thanks to an IG story Roger Howarth uploaded recently.

With that said, his name was mentioned during the Y&R preview for the week of February 23-27, so will he be back sooner than expected?

During the week of February 23, fans can expect to see more of Melissa Ordway as she gets airtime as Abby Winters.

Plus, Abby’s adorable son, Dominic Winters-Chancellor, played by Ethan Ray Park, will also appear.

Detective James Burrow will also be seen during the Thursday, February 26 episode, as Matt Cohen is seen on the canvas this week.

He’ll share scenes with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams).
