The Young and the Restless Week of March 9 Update: Raging Confrontation and Desperate Request

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of March 9-13 reveal that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will unleash her fury on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) seek some help.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also show off her protective side, so let’s discuss what’s in store.

After Phyllis pitches the idea of exchanging Chancellor for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the twins, Victor will consider it or at least pretend to.

However, there’s a good chance Victor’s only going to surrender Lily, Mattie Ashby (last played by Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (last played by Noah Alexander Gerry) in the end.

Victor may insist he’s going to need Newman Enterprises too if Phyllis wants Jack to walk free, but she’s probably going to balk at that deal.

Y&R spoilers say Diane will rage at Phyllis soon, but Phyllis may not willing to budge – at least not yet.

Although Victor will manage to keep Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) out of the loop for a while, he can’t hide what he’s done forever.

Nikki will eventually put the puzzle together and figure out that Victor abducted Jack.

That’ll bring Nikki’s fierce outburst as she grills Victor about where Jack is now.

Victor may argue that Nikki just needs to trust him to handle this and get their family business back.

Perhaps Victor will feel confident that Phyllis is going to cave in after Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) pressure her.

Diane, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will use a clue to help them search for Jack, but there are no guarantees their plan will pay off.

In the meantime, Jack will be stuck with Patty, who’ll lure him into some sort of setup and cause more drama.

As for Victoria, she’ll become Victor’s defender in the coming episodes.

Whether Victoria is defending her dad to Nikki, Billy or even Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), she’ll justify Victor going to extremes to get the Newman empire back.

Nikki and Victor’s marriage will be hanging by a thread, but Lily and Cane could actually make some progress in their own fractured relationship.

Cane will be overjoyed once Lily’s freed along with the twins and may not even mind that Lily was in on the ruse.

Just knowing Lily, Charlie and Mattie are OK will bring Cane great relief. Cane might even pull Lily into a big kiss if she’ll let him!

After Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) spills some unsettling Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) news, Sharon and Nick will ask Adam for a favor.

It looks like Sienna might get a tip about Matt being in Las Vegas, so Adam can potentially help track him down with assistance from former associates.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Matt still has some tricks up his sleeve, so stick with the CBS soap.
