The Young and the Restless Wednesday, February 4 Recap: Victor Warns Cane Sign Over Newman or Never See Family Again

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Wednesday, February 4, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will warn Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) to sign over Newman or else he’ll never see his family again.

At the GCAC, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will leave a voicemail for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) reminding her of his love despite their Chancellor disagreement.

Once Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) pops up on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Billy will give him updates on Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) health taking a turn for the worse.

Even so, Billy will defend his decision to go after Chancellor since he’ll feel like he can protect Jill and Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) legacy.

Jack will hope that Billy’s not choosing Chancellor over his own mother!

At Society, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will talk to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) about Jill’s health crisis and how far she’s come in her relationship with Jill.

Once Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) arrives, she’ll talk about Victor getting what he deserves thanks to Cane and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Lauren will back Diane up when it comes to Victor deserving his downfall and will assume he’s going to use this situation to drag Michael back into drama.

Michael, on the other hand, will have compassion for Victor and what he’s up against.

After Billy shows up, Lauren will speak with him about Jill’s health and the fact that she’s in the dark on what’s going on at Newman and Chancellor.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack and Diane will discuss their attempt to rebuild Jabot after shutting it down.

There’ll be some bickering over Jack and Diane’s previous plans regarding Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Michael, but Jack will think the important thing is Victor got his comeuppance.

At Newman Enterprises, Phyllis will walk in with Cane and marvel over the place being all theirs.

With Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) portrait now off the wall, Phyllis will wonder if Cane’s going to put his own up there.

Cane will insist that’s not his thing and joke about Phyllis selecting one of her ‘90s glam shots.

Phyllis will kid around about having the office fumigated or at least using some sage to get rid of Victor’s vibe.

After Phyllis hints about a list of ways to eradicate their predecessors, she’ll pitch the idea of a press release and renaming the company Ashby-Summers.

Cane will admire Phyllis’ enthusiasm, but he’ll make it clear that none of what she said is going to happen.

At the Newman ranch, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will talk to Victor and admit she pried his plan out of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Chelsea will admit Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was brought in the loop too, so Victor won’t be happy about that.

However, Chelsea will hype up the great idea Nikki had before Nikki comes barging in with the news that it no longer matters.

Nikki will assume Victor has already set his plan in motion since Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is unreachable.

It’ll leave Nikki demanding to know what Victor has done with Lily and the twins.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will enter looking for answers as well, so he’ll ask if Victor used him to track down Lily’s family when he planned to execute the next steps on his own.

Victor will refuse to explain himself and express disappointment in Adam for not keeping his mouth shut.

Once Victor stomps off, he’ll make his way to Newman Enterprises.

Cane will gloat to Phyllis about them having all the power and being in control, but Victor will disagree and push to speak with him alone.

That’ll give Victor a chance to insist Cane’s going to sign Newman back over to him or else he’ll never see his family again!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane will get backed into a terrible corner, so stay tuned!
