The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, March 24, indicate that the drama will escalate during Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) trip to Las Vegas.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will also await some news that could change Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) life, so let’s discuss what’s in store.

For starters, Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will have a long overdue conversation about their fractured relationship.

Since Mariah repeatedly shut Tessa out, it’s easy to see why Tessa felt no choice but to file for divorce.

However, Tessa may ask Mariah if that’s really what she wants and admit part of her is clinging to hope for their future.

Despite all their issues, Mariah and Tessa have never truly stopped loving each other.

Even Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) can see that, which is why he’s willing to sacrifice his own chance at happiness with Tessa.

If there’s a way forward for Tessa and Mariah, then they need to figure things out and fix their marriage.

In the end, Tessa may convince Mariah to go for the plea deal that Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) is pushing for.

If Mariah gets mental health treatment instead of time in the slammer, she can actually work on getting better.

That’s the only way Tessa and Mariah will have a real opportunity to repair what’s broken.

Sharon may feel like Tessa is Mariah’s last hope to avoid prison and wind up relieved when Tessa gets through to her wife.

In Las Vegas, Nick will spin out as he waits for Adam to wrap up his meeting with Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani).

Y&R fans will see Nick’s addiction struggles worsen as he fumes over Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and the stalled mission to locate him.

As for Adam, he’ll deal with Riza and all her gun drama.

Adam will no doubt try to manipulate Riza and make it seem like he’s the same “Spider” she used to know years ago.

Whether Riza buys the act or not, she may ultimately put the weapon down when she realizes Adam doesn’t have one of his own.

Of course, Riza may put Adam through an interrogation first and could potentially suspect he’s there looking for Matt.

Although Adam doesn’t believe Matt could make the Spider connection, Riza might’ve helped him connect the Adam-Spider dots.

Matt may have brainwashed Riza into being his anti-Newman minion, so Adam will have to proceed with caution.
