The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, March 24, reveals that Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) will make a bold move with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) feels the effects of the drugs he’s taken while he hits the casino.

At the GCAC, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will want to whisk Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) away to Barcelona after the hearing tomorrow since he agreed to do a private concert there.

Christine will turn Danny down since there’ll be follow-up details if Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) takes the plea deal.

If Mariah rejects the deal instead, Christine will have a trial to prepare for.

Once Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) comes moping along, he’ll admit he broke things off with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and encouraged her to fix her marriage to Mariah.

Danny will urge Daniel to come to the Barcelona concert, but he won’t want to abandon Tessa with the hearing that’s coming up.

Even so, Danny will worry about Daniel’s heartbreak if he sticks around to watch Mariah and Tessa get back together.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will find out Tessa reached out to Mariah, so she’ll think that’s good since the two of them have a lot to discuss.

Mariah will insist Tessa isn’t changing her mind about rejecting the plea deal since she belongs in prison.

Later, Tessa and Mariah will meet at the park café, where Mariah will once again push her wife to move on.

Mariah will think it’s best if Tessa and Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) let her go since she’ll be adamant about her prison stint.

Tessa will argue that Mariah could accept the help she needs and get treatment at a mental hospital instead.

Mariah has to start by letting Tessa in, so Tessa will remind her wife that she’s never been a coward.

Mariah will nearly leave, but Tessa will stop her and admit she’s willing to walk away if that’s truly what Mariah wants.

Nevertheless, Tessa will give Mariah the chance to try again and push for an answer about whether Mariah’s willing to do that.

In Las Vegas on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, armed Riza will make sure Adam doesn’t have a gun and that he isn’t wearing a wire.

After Adam insists he’s there because he wants back in the game, Riza will be skeptical.

Adam will blame it on his family’s financial collapse, but Riza will remain suspicious since all this seems rather sudden.

Over room service, Riza will admit that the cash didn’t flow as freely after Adam left since he was her best protégé.

That forced Riza to make money other ways, but she won’t go into the details since her guard will still be up.

Riza will ask about Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), so Adam will admit things didn’t work out with her after his return to Genoa City.

Adam will mention that he’s with a woman named Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and that they have a son.

Riza will think that’s too bad, so Adam will confess that his memory is hazy on whether “Spider” was romantically involved with her.

Although Riza won’t confirm it, she’ll eventually plant a kiss on Adam and wonder if it jogs any memories.

In the end, Riza will let Adam know that she’ll get back to him on whether she’s willing to work with him again.

Adam will plan to stick around until he hears some news from Risa.

Down at the casino, Nick will throw back some booze and go on a winning streak at a card table.

At one point, Nick will take a call from Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), who’ll be frustrated over the lack of Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) progress.

Noah will bring up Matt’s latest texts before Nick returns to card playing, but Nick will seem rather out of it due to the drugs he took and will order water since he’s so thirsty.

After Nick stumbles away from the table, he’ll seem off as he catches up with Adam in their suite.

Adam will notice that Nick seems surprisingly chill after being so fired up earlier, but Nick will suggest it’s due to the drinks and the air that’s circulating in the casino.

Nick will remain quite thirsty as he goes for another water, but Adam will worry he went looking for trouble to take the edge off.

Nick will insist Matt’s the only one who’ll find trouble once they track him down.

Back at the coffeehouse, Noah will run into Sharon and Chelsea, so they’ll talk about Nick’s call, Matt’s texts and the mission to bring Matt down.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Noah will send Matt another text to provoke him into a faceoff as well, so stay tuned to see if that leads to more chaos.
