The Young and the Restless The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, March 31, indicate that Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) will struggle over some new information while Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) makes another major decision that involves Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Now that Mariah is headed off for her psychiatric facility treatment, this could be her last chance to see Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) before she goes. Will that be the choice that Tessa wrestles with?

Part of Tessa may worry about Mariah confusing Aria before going away again, but another part of her may think a mother-daughter reunion would help Mariah remember what she’s fighting for.

Tessa wants to try again in their marriage and hopefully put their family together, so she’ll keep that goal in mind as well. Next, Abby and Devon will get a double dose of bad news.

The first round may come through Dominic Winters’ (Ethan Ray Clark) therapist if it’s determined that he was more affected by his abduction than anyone thought. Whatever the case, there’ll indeed be some alarming Dominic info for Devon and Abby to cope with on Tuesday’s show.

Abby and Devon will also have to deal with the revelation that Mariah won’t be landing behind bars for the kidnapping.

Mariah is only getting probation and a mental hospital stay, so Devon and Abby may fume over her avoiding any real consequences. Other Y&R spoilers say Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will take opposing stances, so this may tie in with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) hostility. Claire obviously doesn’t support Victor’s decision to abduct Jack, but she may not hold her grandfather responsible for Jack’s relationship with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) blowing up.

Kyle may insist it’s indeed Victor’s fault since he made sure Jack was drugged with wild Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) on that yacht in Lake Michigan.

Although Claire may think they should root for peace, Kyle will be rooting for Jack’s payback on Victor instead. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Claire and Kyle will speak their minds, so stick with the CBS soap.
