The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that the show’s bringing back Stacy Haiduk as Patty Williams, so what does her Y&R return mean for Days of Our Lives’ Kristen DiMera?

TV Insider confirmed Haiduk’s comeback as Patty and shared that she’ll continue appearing as Kristen DiMera on DOOL, where she portrays Susan Banks from time to time as well.

However, Stacy Haiduk is also set to reprise her role as Patty Williams this March for the first time since 2016.

Although no story details have been revealed for Patty yet, Y&R Head Writer and Executive Producer Josh Griffith insists trouble is brewing!

“Everyone at Y&R couldn’t be more excited to welcome back Stacy for this exciting storyline when trouble once again finds Patty,” Griffith teased to TV Insider.

Patty will be part of a suspenseful mystery and has a history with Ian Ward (Ray Wise), who was secretly alive in the back of an ambulance when he departed the show.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) has been seeing visions of Ian, but could Ian be back in the flesh soon?

Regardless, if Mariah gets institutionalized following her mental break and this Dominic Winters’ (Ethan Ray Clark) kidnapping plot, perhaps she could cross paths with Patty since she’s also in a mental institution.

Of course, it’s possible Patty will escape or somehow get released. Patty’s old obsession with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) could come back into play and perhaps make her part of a storyline with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).

It all depends on which direction Y&R wants to take Patty in, but we have no doubt she’ll bring some entertaining scenes!
