The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that fans are curious about Y&R’s next death, so who’s in danger of getting killed off? Someone’s grim fate could be in the works, so let’s consider which character may face a fatal outcome.

Ever since viewers found out about Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) health setback, there have been concerns on social media.

Would the show really let Jill’s heart give out on her?

Although it’s tough to say for sure what the future holds, Y&R Head Writer and Executive Producer dropped some hints about what’s ahead for Jill in his 2026 preview.

“It’s going to be Jess Walton‘s 40th anniversary [as Jill], so that’s a milestone that we will definitely recognize,” Griffith told TV Insider.

Since Walton actually debuted as Jill in 1987, Griffith appears to be a little off on his dates.

With that in mind, it seems likely Jill’s at least going to stick around long enough for Walton to have her 40th anniversary celebration in 2027.

We should also talk about Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), who doesn’t feel like a character who’s meant to have a long-term future in Genoa City despite what Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) wants.

Could Sienna be a goner once Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) returns for his next round of revenge?

That’s certainly an option to consider, especially since Sienna’s demise would give Noah some gripping material.

It could also help push Noah back in Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) direction if the show wants to reunite them down the road.

However, the character most in danger of getting killed off just might be Matt himself!

Even if Matt takes Sienna out first, he may face a grisly outcome of his own once he has a final showdown with the Newmans.

Since we know Roger Howarth is filming again, a jail cell obviously won’t be able to hold Matt indefinitely.

As long as Matt’s alive, he’s going to be a threat to the Newman clan.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will certainly want Matt deceased once his feud with the Newmans reignites.

The same goes for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who may regret that he ever turned Matt over to the authorities at all.

Noah could also pose a threat to Matt if he hurts or kills Sienna, so you can bet Matt will land in the danger zone!
