The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, March 4, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will kidnap Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and take a stand against the Abbotts.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will also get a message that leaves them deeply disturbed, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Y&R.

For starters, Nick will pop back up following his brief vanishing act and leave Sharon relieved.

However, that relief won’t last long since it sounds like Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is about to send another troubling message.

If Matt has figured out that Nick’s setting a trap, he may make that crystal clear.

Matt was hoping Nick would send the $5 million and play by his rules, but he may warn there’ll be consequences following Nick’s betrayal.

Speaking of betrayals, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is gearing up for one since he wants to yank Chancellor away from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and hand it over to Victor.

Cane’s goal is to give Victor enough to score his family’s safe return and then go back on the deal to give him the rest of Newman Enterprises – at least if he’s telling Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) the truth.

Regardless, Victor is about to take matters into his own hands.

It turns out Victor will abduct Jack and use him as leverage to secure Chancellor again, so he may ruin Cane’s plan to dangle the company as bait.

Of course, Phyllis did mention that the contract wasn’t fully executed, so she may still end up holding the cards here.

Billy can’t give Chancellor back on his own if it isn’t really his to give!

In other words, Phyllis could hold the key to Jack’s freedom soon enough.

Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) may eventually push Phyllis to surrender Chancellor and ensure Jack’s release if she ever wants any chance of fixing their relationship.
