The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that the Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) drama could take a deadly turn in Las Vegas.

Once Matt is finally on-screen again, it could mark a turning point and build to some extreme danger.

Matt has proven what he’s capable of, so there are good reasons to be concerned about the road ahead.

From the moment Matt wiggled out of legal charges, he’s been on a mission for revenge.

Of course, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) wants a little revenge of his own!

More importantly, Nick wants to make sure Matt never has a chance to go after his family ever again.

It seems like the only way to make that happen is for Nick to get his fatal wish when it comes to Matt’s outcome.

Nick clearly wants Matt dead and gone, so is that what this Vegas storyline is building toward?

Matt could be a goner by the end of all this, but he may not be the only one.

If Y&R wants to raise the stakes with another shocking demise beforehand, Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) seems like a great character to kill off.

It’s not like anyone is going to miss Riza since she was off-screen for years before this new round of Vegas chaos erupted.

Riza could easily find herself in over her head and become a casualty of Matt’s feud with the Newmans.

After all, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) mentioned her suspicions that Matt was previously having an affair with a woman in Vegas.

Matt had someone listed as “R” in his phone, so it makes sense that he was cheating on Sienna with Riza.

If Riza and Matt still have some form of a romance going on, he isn’t going to appreciate her interest in Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Even if it’s part of a ruse, Riza may genuinely be attracted to Adam based on their apparent romantic history.

In other words, the closer Riza gets to Adam, the more likely it becomes that Matt will kill her for any attraction she might feel.

Between Matt’s jealousy and whatever trust he might lose in Riza, she could become both an annoyance and a liability.

Then again, Riza might get tangled up in the explosion that Y&R insiders have been buzzing about.

It looks like there’ll be a big boom before this Vegas story is over, so both Riza and Matt might be presumed dead in the blast.
