The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, December 18: Kyle’s SOS to Summer – Phyllis’ Deal with Billy
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, December 18, reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will send out an SOS to Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) reaches a deal with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Now that the Abbotts have worked out their new strategy, Billy will have to convince Phyllis to get on board.
That means Billy will go to Phyllis on Thursday’s episode and make a pitch for why she should join Team Jabot.
Y&R fans know Phyllis is already feeling like a fool for trusting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
If Victor destroys Jabot before she can take over, then the deal they struck will be pointless.
Phyllis will be open to a new deal with the Abbotts, but they’ll have to make it worth her while.
Although Phyllis will drive a hard bargain, Billy will eventually lock in a deal with her and hope she’ll keep her promise to double-cross Victor.
Since Phyllis stole the AI program from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), perhaps she can steal it from Victor next.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) thinks destroying this program is the only way to keep Jabot safe, so Phyllis could be the key to making that happen.
In the meantime, Jack will have a prickly encounter with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), so they’ll both get an earful for the Jabot horror story that was published.
Although Chelsea wasn’t to blame for that, she’ll still face Jack’s lecture.
Jack may feel like if Chelsea was really willing to stand up for what’s right, she’d walk away from Newman Media and all the vindictiveness.
Of course, Jack will likely rant about Adam being Victor’s puppet and doing whatever his father asks of him.
Adam betrayed his friendship with Jack, who may admit he’s feeling hurt by Adam’s actions.
Over with Kyle, he’ll go along with Jack’s idea and reach out to Summer about what’s going on at Jabot.
Summer deserves a phone call since this affects Marchetti as well, but it seems Kyle will have to leave a message when Summer doesn’t pick up.
It looks like Kyle will also send an SOS and wonder if Summer can help with some family angles.
Summer could potentially talk to Phyllis about the Jabot alliance or even Victor to convince him to stand down.
The Abbotts could use all the assistance they can get at this point, so Kyle will have some requests to share with Summer.
