The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis & Holden’s One-Night Stand, Perfect Way to Get Over Cane & Claire?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) could have a one-night stand. Would that be the perfect way to get over Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin)?
In the December 8 episode, Cane and Phyllis’ little game will officially come to an end.
After Phyllis once again refuses to come clean about stealing the AI program and working with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Cane will vow to destroy her Jabot takeover goal.
Cane will also want to ruin Phyllis’ other job opportunities, so he’ll be out for revenge.
Although Phyllis and Cane have been manipulating each other, it’ll still sting once he’s totally turned against her.
Phyllis has basically made Cane her world for months, so what’s she going to do now?
Deep down, Phyllis seemingly did have some feelings for Cane or at least a real attraction to his Aristotle Dumas qualities.
Meanwhile, we’ve got Holden, who’s dealing with some frustration and rejection of his own.
Although Holden was hoping to continue his romance with Claire once they came home from Los Angeles, that plan isn’t working out for multiple reasons.
Claire may be leaning toward giving Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) another chance, so that’s a hurdle for Holden.
However, a second problem is Claire can tell Holden’s not giving her the whole Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) story she asked for.
It’s easy to see how Holden and Phyllis might bond over their similar struggles.
Phyllis has been listening to Cane push for the truth incessantly, so Holden can relate since Claire’s doing the same thing.
Likewise, Y&R’s been pushing Kyle and Claire as more of a “true love” couple with Holden as the interloper.
Phyllis has been Cane and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) interloper as well, so that could be another way for her to connect with Holden.
Holden may not be employed by Cane for much longer considering Arabesque is crashing and burning.
Once Cane isn’t Holden’s boss anymore, there may not be anything stopping Holden from a one-night stand with Phyllis or maybe even something more.
