The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will continue to cause her share of problems. Ever since she showed up on Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) door a few weeks ago, she’s caused nonstop turmoil for him. Not only does she look exactly like Devon’s deceased wife, Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan), she’s partially spearheading the effort to contest Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will, which could potentially wipe away Devon’s fortune.

Down the road, it seems that Amanda stands to cause trouble for Devon’s relationship with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) as well. The issue with Katherine’s will seems as if it’s going to continue for a while, so Amanda will probably be around Genoa City for the foreseeable future, which won’t make Devon very happy. Devon would be wise to do a full background check on Amanda, and it seems a bit surprising that he hasn’t done so already.

Well, it seems that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) may try to help Devon out in the near future. According to Y&R spoilers, Nate will soon “cozy up” with Amanda, which seems a bit out of character for Nate, especially since by all accounts he seems pretty happy in his relationship with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). Then again, Nate has been pretty upset by the fallout from Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) death ruse, and he might be getting disillusioned with Abby and the Newmans in general.

Still, it doesn’t seem like Nate would just blatantly turn away from Abby and start cozying up to Amanda of all people. He’s pretty protective of Devon and wouldn’t just get interested in a Hilary lookalike, so there must be something more to this. Perhaps Nate will think that he can learn more about Amanda and her motives by pretending to take an interest in her.

At any rate, we’ll see if he lets Devon in on what he’s doing. If not, then Devon might have some strong feelings about seeing Amanda with another man, especially with Nate. Really, it’s got to be only a matter of time before Devon starts developing some feelings for Amanda – even if they’re just displaced feelings for Hilary. After all, Amanda looks just like Hilary, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Devon finds himself becoming attracted to her just a little.

Of course, all of this assumes that Amanda doesn’t quickly figure out what Nate is up to. She seems pretty perceptive, so he may get a clue pretty quickly that Nate is playing her to glean information for Devon. At any rate, it will be interesting to watch Nate try to make some moves. He can be pretty smooth, so he’ll probably really turn on the charm.
