The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 12, reveal that Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be derailed, so Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will get a shock.

At the Newman ranch, Jack will await Victor’s choice when it comes to the Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) agreement he’s offering.

Jack’s willing to surrender custody of Matt in exchange for the destruction of the AI program, so it seems Victor will cave in.

Since Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has concerns about the Abbotts using the program on Newman Enterprises, Jack is willing to get rid of the program together.

All Jack wants is to end this threat to Jabot and protect his family legacy.

Victor may ultimately strike the deal and pull up the program when it’s destruction time.

That’s when Victor may learn he’s lost control of the software and that it’s now decimating Newman the way it decimated Arabesque.

Since Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has the ability to create that kind of chaos due to a built-in program element, it looks like he’ll green light the mayhem and watch Newman burn!

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will love every minute of this now Cane’s “Aristotle Dumas” side is resurfacing.

Of course, Cane and Phyllis will provoke Victor’s wrath with this bold move.

It’s just a matter of time until Phyllis and Cane face Victor’s revenge, so they’d better prepare for him to become their worst nightmare.

As for Jack, Y&R spoilers say he’ll head back to the Abbott mansion with some stunning news.

Jack will fill Diane in on everything that went down and let her know the AI threat hasn’t been vanquished.

Diane and Jack will have new reasons to fret thanks to Cane and Phyllis’ actions.

Once Jack realizes the duo played dirty against Victor, he may worry Phyllis and Cane could make trouble for the Abbotts next.

In fact, Diane and Jack might fear that Cane has reverted to his original plan to take over all the major businesses in Genoa City.
