The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, August 18: Lily Gets Cane’s Answer – Holden Suspects Dirt Digger
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 18, reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will get Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) answer while Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) suspects a dirt digger. There’ll be some risky moves happening in Genoa City, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Y&R.
For starters, Cane will feel backed into a corner and will be forced to give Lily the answer she’s waiting for.
Lily wants Cane to give up his shady corporate agenda in exchange for help smoothing things over with the kids now that he’s been outed as Aristotle Dumas.
Will Cane surrender to Lily’s demand? Even if Cane claims that’s what he’s going to do, he can’t be trusted at this point.
Cane might tell Lily what she wants to hear and move forward with his plans anyway.
It’s also possible Cane will veto Lily’s deal and insist the only way he’ll abandon everything is for a full-blown reunion.
Of course, Lily may end up helping Cane do damage control regardless of the answer he gives.
Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) well-being is more important than anything else, so Lily may help Cane with the twins no matter what in the end.
Whatever the case, Cane definitely won’t give up hope when it comes to winning Lily’s heart again and putting their family back together.
Over with Holden, he’ll have a tense discussion with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) at Society’s bar.
Daniel will seem suspicious of Holden as he starts asking way too many questions.
Holden will quickly start to feel like he’s under interrogation, so he’ll worry that Daniel has been sent to dig for dirt.
Since Lily warned Holden not to trust Cane, he’ll demand to know if Cane put Daniel up to grilling him.
Some hostility will threaten to erupt, but Daniel may try to settle Holden down in the end.
Perhaps Daniel will admit he’s got his guard up regarding Cane instead and point out this is really about protecting his mom.
Since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is tangled up in Cane’s mess, Daniel will feel the need to look out for her and gather all the information he can.
