The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jealous Phyllis Crashes Launch Party, Derails Cane & Lily’s Date Night?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that jealous Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may crash the upcoming launch party. Will Phyllis derail Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) date night during the week of December 8-12?
Cane recently told Phyllis that he chose her and acted like he was moving on from Lily.
After Cane played up everything he could accomplish professionally with Phyllis, he pushed her to come clean about stealing the AI program.
Cane made it clear that in order to start building trust with Phyllis, he needed her to admit what he already knew and confirm her deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Phyllis kept up her lies and insisted Cane was wrong, but he argued this was a deal-breaker for him.
If Phyllis wants to continue down this path with Cane, she’ll have to confess.
Phyllis finally said she’d tell Cane the truth, but Y&R left fans hanging on what came next.
Viewers will find out Phyllis’ response sooner or later, but it may just be more of the same deception and dodging.
Regardless, Cane may not give Phyllis the platform she’s looking for or make her a shining star.
Even if Phyllis comes clean at some point, Cane may admit he’s been playing her just to get her to spill what she did.
Whatever the case, Cane was certainly lying about putting Lily behind him. Lily is very much still in Cane’s heart and perhaps always will be.
That’s why when Lily tells Cane she’s going to the “boring” Abbott Communications launch party, he’ll pitch the idea of going together.
Cane will try to convince Lily that they can turn a dull event into a chance to reconnect and have a good time.
Will Lily be willing to take Cane as her plus one despite how indecisive he’s acted about Phyllis? Part of Lily is still weak for Cane and might be persuaded in the end.
If Cane and Lily do wind up going to this launch bash together, Phyllis may get updates and decide that doesn’t work for her.
If Phyllis can’t have Cane, she surely doesn’t want Lily to have him either!
Phyllis may take this opportunity to crash the launch party and cause a scene.
Cane might make some progress with Lily until Phyllis shows up, which has become the usual pattern for these three.
However, this could be the last straw for Cane and potentially lead to him declaring he’s done with Phyllis.
Cane might shut the door on this dalliance for good or at least try to.
