The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Claire & Audra Trapped Together, Matt’s Twisted Plot Forces Teamwork?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) may end up trapped together. Will Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall’s” (Roger Howarth) twisted plot force some teamwork?
Audra and Claire have become fierce foes who are scheming to bring each other down.
However, there could be a curveball brewing that’ll turn Claire and Audra into allies instead of enemies.
Since we know Matt will unleash his revenge on Genoa City, trouble could be in store for both Audra and Claire.
The fact that Claire is a Newman will certainly make her a target, especially considering how much Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) adores his granddaughter.
Audra may not be able to avoid getting tangled up in the Matt chaos either.
Y&R fans will recall that Audra stirred up plenty of drama at The Shadow Room once upon a time.
“Mitch” got involved in that whole mess with the stolen wallet, so he may have done more for Audra and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) than they’ve admitted.
It’s possible “Mitch” helped kill the man Audra swiped the cashier’s check from or at least helped Holden dispose of the body.
If Audra doesn’t play by Matt’s rules when he comes to town, he may view her as an ungrateful traitor.
Matt might even get updates on Audra and Claire’s rivalry, which would give him a good reason to add to their misery by holding them captive together.
Y&R did a similar storyline back when Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) were held hostage by Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins).
It was a harrowing experience that forced Phyllis and Sharon to work as a team, which led to them putting their rivalry aside.
Phyllis and Sharon are now trying to be friends after so many years of feuding, so they’ve made some real progress.
It might be a stretch to think Audra and Claire will ever be BFFs, but they could at least find a path to peace and mutual respect.
