The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) may get a scary message. Will Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the twins pull off a trick to help Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) regain control of Newman Enterprises?

At this point, it seems like Victor may want to go through the motions of kidnapping Lily, Mattie Ashby (last played by Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (last played by Noah Alexander Gerry) while keeping them perfectly safe.

Although Victor would never cause any real harm to Lily or her family, he needs Cane to buy that it’s happening.

As a result, Victor may plan to make Lily and the twins believe they’re at risk, too.

However, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) seems uneasy about Victor’s next steps.

After Adam gets a text about Lily and her children being located in Y&R’s January 27 episode, Victor’s man will await further instructions.

Since Adam will change his mind about something after a conversation with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), he may decide he can’t force Lily, Charlie and Mattie into a scary situation – even if they’re not really in jeopardy.

Chelsea may push Adam to come up with an alternative, so he may rely on Lily and the twins for assistance instead.

Since Lily, Mattie and Charlie feel that Cane has done something unforgivable, Adam may ask them to help make things right.

Perhaps Charlie, Mattie and Lily could make a video message for Cane.

Even if we don’t actually see the three of them on-screen, Cane could get an eyeful of Lily and the twins looking like they’re in captivity somewhere.

Then again, Cane might get a phone message instead that brings screams and pleas for help.

That’d be another way to get Cane’s attention and alert him to family drama, even if Lily, Charlie and Mattie are just putting on a show.

Of course, it’s also possible Adam will decide to use AI to generate a message instead.

It’d almost be fitting considering this whole mess started because of Cane’s AI program.

That strategy might still require Lily and the twins’ cooperation.

Cane is no doubt going to call Lily, Mattie and Charlie if he fears they’re in trouble, so Adam needs them to know what’s going on.

Bottom line, if Adam’s going to change his mind about doing this Victor’s way, he may take another approach that puts Lily, Charlie and Mattie in on the deception.

Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane may get updates on some horrifying news and have to decide whether he believes it!

Will this be enough to bring Cane to the bargaining table like Victor’s hoping?
