The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) may make a jailhouse visit to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and confront Dominic Winters’ (Ethan Ray Clark) snatcher over this traumatic ordeal.

Abby knows Mariah wouldn’t do something like this if she was thinking clearly, but that doesn’t mean she can just let it go.

Mariah stole Abby and Devon Winters’ (Bryton James) son, so she upended their world in a big way.

Although Dominic was OK when he reunited with Devon and Abby, he was still confused by Mariah’s actions.

Dominic thankfully thought the whole experience was one big hide and seek game, but he was fed up and ready to go home in the end.

If Mariah had pulled off her plan, she might’ve built a whole new life with “Bowie” in Mexico.

Mariah wanted to be Dominic’s new mom and keep him away from Abby as well as Devon, so this definitely a messy situation that’s going to bring strong emotions.

At some point, Abby may want to confront Mariah over this twisted plan.

Maybe Abby will want to get a better sense of Mariah’s mental state and question her about what exactly was going through her head.

If this happens while Mariah is in lockup at the GCPD, Abby might pay her a visit there and try to get some answers.

Then again, the confrontation could come once Mariah’s potentially in the psych ward or even out on bail.

Whatever the case, Mariah is indeed facing kidnapping charges, so Abby’s left wondering why she was driven to do something so extreme and out of character.

Unfortunately, Mariah may not be able to explain her motives when the time comes to face Abby.

Ian Ward (Ray Wise) visions were clouding Mariah’s mind and twisting things around, so she may not have answers for Abby that actually make sense.

Regardless, Y&R fans know Mariah is a lost and broken woman, so Abby may see that once she comes face to face with her.

Abby might be able to find some sympathy for Mariah despite any pain and anger she’ll still be feeling.

Although Abby can’t just snap her fingers and move past this, she’ll get that Mariah needs mental help.

Abby and Mariah won’t be friends again anytime soon, but there’ll be opportunities for healing and forgiveness down the road.
