The Young and the Restless’ Roger Howarth Returns as Matt Clark, See When Villain Is Back On-Screen
SOD confirmed that Howarth resumed filming earlier this week and predicted a March return airdate based on how many weeks Y&R films in advance.
Of course, it’s no surprise that Matt’s still got a few tricks up his sleeve.
Since Matt ultimately got arrested and landed in jail to await trial, it was always just a matter of time until he caused more chaos.
Once Matt presumably escapes, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may decide that enough is enough!
It may become crystal clear to Nick that Matt needs to be dealt with in a more permanent way this time around.
Although the Newmans were hoping the justice system would take care of Matt, it looks like they’ll have to handle him instead.
Matt has cheated death before, but Nick may make it his mission to wipe his longtime rival out with no chance of him coming back again.
Whatever the case, Roger Howarth is a fantastic performer who’s managed to put his own spin on Matt.
Howarth brings his own brand of humor and even a bit of charm despite how horrible Matt is, so he’s always fun to watch when he’s lighting up the screen.
The details of Matt’s comeback storyline haven’t been released yet, but a new set in behind-the-scenes photos has left social media buzzing about a potential Las Vegas twist.
Regardless, Matt’s going to want revenge, but he’d be smart to lead the Newmans away from their home turf.
If Matt stays too close to Genoa City, he could run the risk of getting captured again too quickly.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Matt will bring some new challenges for the Newman clan to contend with, so stay tuned for updates on all the stunning news ahead.
