The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could use a new man for 2026. Since Phyllis just might be the character most in need of true love, maybe she could find someone who can handle her big personality and scheming side in the coming months.

Phyllis has definitely been one of the unluckiest Genoa City residents in the romance department.

Of course, a lot of that is Phyllis’ fault since she focuses on plotting instead of being a normal person who goes on dates and builds connections.

That said, Phyllis is a unique individual who doesn’t fit into the typical dating box.

Perhaps Phyllis isn’t cut out to just be normal and needs someone who can embrace all her flaws instead.

Although Phyllis spent so long chasing after Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), she seems to have accepted that they’re not meant to be.

Danny tied the knot with Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) again, so Phyllis knows there’s no point in pining for him.

As for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he’s married to Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and hasn’t been interested in Phyllis romantically in quite some time.

Y&R seemingly toyed with the idea of putting Phyllis and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) back together, but they really work better as friends and allies.

The same goes for Phyllis and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who’s hopefully in the process of reuniting with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Phyllis has also been making seductive moves on Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and trying to convince him that they’re so much alike.

Whether that’s true or not, Cane’s heart belongs to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), so he’ll never be able to give Phyllis what she needs – at least not long-term.

Cane isn’t the man for Phyllis any more than her exes are.

It’s one thing for Phyllis and Cane to have whatever strange fling they’ve had, but it’s quite another to go all in on a future together.

At some point, Phyllis really needs to move on from whatever Cane fixation she’s dealing with.

When Phyllis least expects it, maybe someone could walk into her life in 2026 who grabs her attention.

Phyllis could use a chance to fall for someone new and have a real opportunity for lasting love, so let’s hope she gets it!
