The Young and the Restless Monday, March 30 Recap: Devon Explodes at Lying Lily – Cane Threatens Victor

The Young and the Restless Monday, March 30 Recap: Devon Explodes at Lying Lily

After Noah gives Nikki an old record as a gift, he’ll mention that he tried to give it to her at the ranch and learned she’d moved out.

Nikki will downplay it as needing space from Victor and will assure Noah that everything’s going to be fine. Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will eventually interrupt and take Noah on the patio to show him Matt’s latest text to taunt her.

It’ll concern Sienna since Matt managed to find out her new phone number. Sienna will eventually suspect that maybe Matt figured she would make the Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) connection.

It’ll leave Sienna worried that Matt might’ve lured Nick to Vegas to leave them vulnerable in Genoa City without him.

At the Newman ranch, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will return from Milan and reveal that Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) doesn’t want to see Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so she refused to confront her in person. However, Victor will have a letter from Summer and will look forward to passing along her harsh words to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Victor will admit Phyllis surrendered Chancellor, but he’ll also acknowledge that Nikki won’t be getting it back since she’s left the ranch.

Victoria will find out Victor used Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as leverage and that Nikki took Jack’s side.

Victoria will fret over her parents’ marriage and the possibility that the damage is irreparable this time. Victor will make it clear that he expects loyalty and that Nikki will have to come to her senses if they’re going to fix things.

Victoria will meet with Nikki at the GCAC next and get her side of the story. Although Victoria will defend Victor a bit, Nikki will insist he went too far by kidnapping Jack and orchestrating something that’s broken his marriage to Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).

At the Chancellor mansion, Devon and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will quiz Lily following her ordeal, so she’ll admit the “kidnapping” was actually a ruse designed to trick Cane.

Lily will insist she gave up her phone along with the twins so they wouldn’t be tempted to reach out to anyone. They had to make this look real and couldn’t risk telling anyone who might tip Cane off to the truth. Devon will explode since he’s been worried sick about Lily, Mattie Ashby (last played by Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (last played by Noah Alexander Gerry), especially after Dominic Winters’ (Ethan Ray Clark) own abduction crisis.

Devon will wonder “what the hell” Lily was thinking and will point out that she’s no better than Cane after what she did.

Lily will apologize, but she’ll also defend her involvement since she was angry at Cane and was promised Chancellor in exchange for her help. That won’t be good enough for Devon, who won’t be surprised to learn the deal may be falling through.

Devon will insist they don’t need Chancellor, so he’ll want Lily to cut her losses and get out of this mess with Victor. As for Nate, he’ll realize Victoria must’ve known what was going on since she defended Victor to Cane and acted like things weren’t as bad as Cane thought.

Nate will be hurt and “pissed off” at Lily, but he’ll see her point about not wanting to tip off Cane to the truth.

At Society, Victor will saunter in and find Cane at the bar. Cane will mention that he knows all about the kidnapping ruse since Nikki ratted Victor our and then Lily confirmed the news. After Cane wonders what Victor gave Lily in exchange for her help, Victor will act like Lily was more than willing to help dupe her ex.

Victor will urge Cane to go back to Nice and the chateau, but Cane will insist on staying in GC.

“You thought I brought chaos before? Wait until you see what I do next,” Cane will promise on Monday’s Y&R episode.

Cane will suggest he might “burn the whole damn town down just for fun” since it only takes one match. Victor will mock Cane for trying to scare him before Cane stomps off.

That’ll leave Victor alone to mutter about Cane needing to get ready for war.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane and Victor have more conflict ahead of them, so stay tuned. CDL will have all the hottest Young and the Restless spoilers and news to read up on, so make us your top Y&R source.
