The Young and the Restless Monday, March 2 Recap: Sally Surrenders to Billy’s Kiss – Claire Confesses to Kyle
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, March 2, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) won’t be able to resist Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) lips after he pulls out all the stops to win her back.
Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will also make an admission during a conversation with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
At Crimson Lights, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will catch up with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and realize his Los Angeles trip with Claire didn’t go well.
Holden will assure Audra that although Claire poked around, she doesn’t know anything more about their past.
Audra will eventually learn Claire said she was done with Holden since she could tell he’s holding back.
However, Audra will think it’s a “good riddance” situation and push Holden to find someone else.
Now that Audra’s tackling her new role at Spectra-Charles Media, she’ll want to focus on that instead of Claire.
That said, Audra will want to hear from Claire herself and get confirmation that she’s not going to be a problem anymore.
At Society, Claire will bump into Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), who’ll buy her a drink and hear about her LA trip.
Claire will admit she talked to so many people about the missing art dealer, but she couldn’t get any solid information.
Kyle will wonder why Claire’s fixated on this if Audra’s leaving her alone, but Claire will doubt Audra’s backing off for good.
Claire will also think Audra is obsessed with Kyle and that she’d “go there” again with him if she had the chance.
Kyle will downplay that idea and suggest maybe he was wrong to be wary of Holden.
Claire will think Kyle may have been right instead and will make it clear that Holden is no longer an option.
At the Newman ranch, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will speak with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about postponing her Milan trip, but she’ll still think getting Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) is the way to go.
Victoria will also voice concerns about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) not acting like himself and burning through his meds quickly, so Nikki will admit she shares those concerns along with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
There’ll be some talk about the latest Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) news as well as this fight to regain Newman control.
Nikki will suggest maybe they should accept it’s a new era and move on, but Victoria will refuse to stop until they’ve gotten back everything that was stolen from them.
At Billy’s place, he’ll welcome Sally in for a romantic night. Sally will think this is about two civil adults saying goodbye, but Billy will have other plans and insist it’s a “full-court press” to win her back.
After Billy pushes for an honest discussion, Sally will reflect on her childhood and how her “dreamer” dad always let her down.
Billy will suggest maybe Sally’s father never had anyone to believe in him, so Sally will get offended thinking he means it was her fault.
Billy will argue that’s not what he means at all, but Sally will express her pain over him choosing Chancellor over her.
However, Billy will think of it as choosing it WITH Sally instead.
This will be their chance to run their respective companies and come home to their beautiful life together as far as Billy’s concerned.
Billy will remind Sally of how she wrote “I love you” on his hand in Nice, so he’ll write “I love you” on her hand and push her to commit that to her heart.
An emotional Sally will get swept up in the moment with Billy and share a kiss with him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will have to decide what this means for her future, so stay tuned.
