The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Christel Khalil, who plays Lily Winters on the CBS soap, recently shared a picture of her new baby, while also revealing she’s training for her daytime drama return.

Khalil hopped on Instagram and uploaded a photo to her IG Story. The picture was of the actress, in what appears to be a home gym, set up in her garage.

Khalil’s newborn, baby number 3, is on her chest, perfectly secured via a baby carrier, while she’s lifting weights.

The little one is in a green carrier, wearing a cream onesie. The caption on the Instagram Story photo reads, “Getting ready for Lily’s return!”

This is Khalil’s second child with Canadian businessman Sam Restagno. The two met in 2016 and went public with their romance in 2018.

Restagno and Khalil were engaged in 2022 and said their “I dos” in October 2024, getting married in Italy.

Their first child, a boy, was born in 2023, and Khalil also has a teenage son from her previous marriage to musician Stephen Hensley.

Lily exited the canvas in January of this year to visit her daughter, Mattie Ashby (last played Lexie Stevenson), because she had enough of Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) antics.

With that said, this was to allow for Khalil’s maternity leave, which probably occured sometime in late 2025, as the soap films several weeks ahead of broadcast.

Fans weren’t even aware that the actress was pregnant (even though some had their suspicions), until Halloween 2025.

The CBS soap unveiled a cute montage of the cast dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, and viewers couldn’t miss Khalil’s adorable dance, with her cute pregnant belly.

Since Lily’s departure, a lot has unraveled in Genoa City, as Cane has let his inner Aristotle Dumas out again, taking over Newman Enterprises, along with sidekick (and occasional lover) Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Unfortunately, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has retaliated with a plan that places Lily in the crossfire of things.

He’s trying to trick Cane into thinking he has taken Lily and the twins, in hopes that Cane will sign over the company back to him.

But will this plan work, and is Lily in on it? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

The Young and the Restless spoilers imply that Lily will likely return and deal with a ton of drama, a dash of toxicity, and possibly chaos – but fans have missed her – so it’s nice to see that she’s on the road back “home”.
