Comments: Leave Comments Related : Soap Opera , Spoiler , Television , The Young and the Restless The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will have a lot on his mind now that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has spilled Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) secret Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) partnership. Cane has been fighting hard for the safe return of Lily and their children, but Nikki insisted there was never any danger at all. Nikki gave Cane a shock when she revealed that Lily was part of Victor’s scheme, so he’ll have plenty to say when he reunites with Lily.

There’s a good chance Cane will ask Lily three heartbreaking questions, so here’s how he may stun his ex with the harsh reality of the situation.

1) Cane asks if what Nikki told him was true For starters, Cane may want confirmation that Nikki was telling the truth. Perhaps Cane will plead with Lily to tell him that Nikki somehow got it wrong.

Cane won’t want to believe Lily stooped to Victor’s level, but he’ll have to ask if she really teamed up with Victor to dupe him. Lily may confess she indeed deceived Cane as part of Victor’s plan and see the devastation in her former husband’s eyes.

2) Cane wonders how Lily could use their children against him Of course, that confirmation could lead to Cane wondering how Lily could use the twins against him like that.

Cane was genuinely afraid for Lily, Mattie Ashby (last played by Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby’s (last played by Noah Alexander Gerry) safety while they were all living it up with fancy accommodations elsewhere. This was basically just a nice extended vacation for Lily and the twins, so Cane’s going to be angry and devastated to know Lily would let him believe their children were in danger. 3) Cane questions how Lily would feel in his shoes Lily may be ashamed on some level if Cane questions how she’d feel if in the same situation.

Cane may suspect that Lily would lose her mind and never forgive him if he went as far as making her think Charlie and Mattie were in jeopardy.

Cane might also argue that unlike Lily, that’s a line he’d never cross and suggest she’ll never know what it was like to go through that. Victor was hoping to use Lily on another plot against Cane following her return to town in Y&R’s March 26 episode, but Nikki’s latest news could ruin that plan.

Now that Cane knows Lily and Victor have been in cahoots, it’s going to bring a fierce faceoff for the exes and force them to address some painful issues. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily and Cane’s reunion will bring some important scenes, so stay tuned.
