THE INNOCENCE UNDER SIEGE: MEGAN’S VICIOUS NEW TRAP FOR SAM REVEALED TONIGHT!
Coronation Street‘s Megan Walsh begins a cruel scheme against Sam Blakeman tonight, after he discovered her inappropriate relationship with Will Driscoll. As the teenager sees through her lies, manipulative Megan decides to change tact.
Last night marked a huge turning point in the grooming storyline when Leanne Battersby found a boy’s tracksuit top lying around in the flat. Megan explained that it belonged to Daniel Osbourne, but Sam later saw Will with it and asked if the pair were sleeping together.
While Will denied his claims and offer of support, Sam remained suspicious of the coach. Megan approached Sam to ensure he kept quiet, though her intimidation tactics only furthered his doubt.
In tonight’s episode, Leanne invites Sam to join her for dinner at Speed Daal after school, but when the teenager arrives, he is horrified to see Megan sat at their table. Oblivious Leanne chats about decor with her flatmate, telling her: “What goes on behind your bedroom door is no business of mine or anybody else’s.”

As the two women joke about Sam’s messy room, he makes it clear to Megan that he is still suspicious of her.
“If I need to find something, I can. You know, it might take me a while sometimes, but I get there,” he pointedly says, with Leanne agreeing that “there’s no stopping him”.

When Leanne leaves the table, Sam tells Megan that she can drop the intimidation techniques as he’s already got her “message”. She feigns ignorance but he tells her that what she’s doing with Will is wrong.
“Sam, I have no idea what you’re talking about. But if you’ve got my message then you’ll drop it. Now,” she asserts.
Later, in The Rovers, Daniel is busy marking coursework from his students. When he gets up to buy Megan a drink, she seizes the opportunity to steal Sam’s essay from the pile, sliding it into her jacket.
