Viewers are hoping she’ll find love with a newly single villager

Emmerdale fans are in agreement over who Gabby Thomas should have her second chance of love with after heartache with Vinny Dingle.

Actress Rosie Bentham joined the Emmerdale cast as Gabby Thomas back in 2016. During her time in the Dales, Gabby has been unlucky in love.

Her one-night stand with Jamie Tate led to her falling pregnant with son, Thomas. Jamie is classed as an absent father, leaving Gabby to be a single mother

She then fell in love with Nicky Miligan. However, just as they were about to make it down the aisle, Nicky called things off. He later left the village with boyfriend Suni Sharma.

Gabby then fell for good friend Vinny Dingle, and their relationship blossomed. However, after an impromptu proposal, things have started to shift for the couple.

Sadly, they didn’t make it through as Vinny came clean about his struggle with his sexuality as well as Gabby confessing that she slept with someone else while away in Portugal.

Now, Vinny has struck up the beginnings of a romance with Lewis Barton who arrived in the village last year – and Gabby has appeared to be making moves on his older brother, Ross Barton.

As Gabby shamelessly flirted with Ross at Home Farm, some fans noted that their romance could hit a “dead end” before it’s even begun as he’s only just got over the heartbreak of Steph Miligan leaving the village.

Not only that, but there’s still the concealed secret that Charity Dingle is expecting his baby after their drunken one night stand when she’s supposed to be the surrogate for granddaughter Sarah Sugden.

With that in mind, viewers are convinced that Gabby should find love with newly single Billy Fletcher who divorced Dawn Taylor after she had an affair with Joe Tate.

On a Reddit thread, u/goddessfromcyprus wrote: “I’d love to see Gabby with Billy. I’d love to see Dawn’s face when he comes down for breakfast. Make it happen.”

u/salome_maloney agreed: “What about Billy?! He’s young, free and single. And, I’m sure it would be the cause of much drama if Gabby did get together with Billy. Dawn doesn’t want him, but I bet she wouldn’t want Gabby to have him either, lol.”
