The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Talks Steffy’s Deadly Moments

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will continue to fret over Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and the danger she could be in due to her affair with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) is a dangerous force to be reckoned with, so it’s easy to see why Steffy’s concerned. Steffy will remain a big part of this storyline as she tries to keep Taylor safe.

This isn’t the first time Steffy’s had to worry about what Sheila’s capable of and it certainly won’t be the last.

However, Steffy’s caused some deadly danger of her own over the years. That’s something Jacqueline MacInnes Wood addressed in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly as she reflected on some of the shockers her character’s been part of.

“There have been moments where I’ve accidentally killed someone, you know, or tried to kill someone. I pushed Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) into this electrical panel,” Wood said as she recalled one particularly wild scene on the show.

B&B fans also watched Steffy whack Aly Forrester (Ashlyn Pearce) with a tire iron, which led to Aly taking a fatal blow to the head on a rock.

Plus, there was the time Steffy stabbed “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown) thinking she was Sheila at the cliff house. It was no doubt a challenge for Jacqueline MacInnes Wood to play all those storylines, but she admitted another story was her most difficult one to date. “The most challenging would be the opioid addiction,” Wood said.

“As an actor, having to dive into those scenes, and execute them in the best way possible and make it all organic and real, with so much text — that was challenging for me.” Of course, Wood was referring to her story from 2020 when Steffy had a motorcycle accident and became addicted to painkillers.

Steffy spiraled out of control before realizing she needed help, so Wood delivered plenty of powerful performances in the midst of it all. As for the character overall, Wood appreciates how “feisty” Steffy is and shared that she’s a blast to portray.

Steffy is a fan favorite and perhaps always will be, so stay tuned for more news on her future! The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Taylor and Deacon’s continued involvement will bring more messes for Steffy to contend with.
