The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Wednesday, January 14, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) made a designer announcement while Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) thought Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) was a thief.

At Forrester Creations, Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) admitted to Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that she was concerned about Katie.

Brooke worried this was about Katie’s health since she was under so much stress with this Logan launch.

Donna mentioned Katie being overwhelmed, so Ridge thought that was to be expected considering she was all on her own.

Talk turned to Donna’s desire for family unity since she didn’t like being stuck between her sisters.

However, Brooke felt that Katie was being disrespectful and basically stealing from her as well as Ridge now that she was using “Logan” for her fashion house.

Ridge backed Brooke up, but Donna kept trying to push for peace.

At the Logan office, Katie took a phone call and struggled with press questions since she didn’t have a lead designer locked in yet.

Next on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Katie welcomed in Eric and was thankful for his consulting offer.

Since Katie was in desperate need of a lead designer, she talked about her vision and sought Eric’s help figuring out a plan.

There was some talk about Deke Sharpe’s (Harrison Cone) talent and how he had potential before things fell through at Forrester Creations.

That said, Katie was clearly looking for someone of Eric’s caliber to take the lead and make her first collection a big success.

Eric checked out some of the designer portfolios that Katie had received, but none of them were quite right for what Katie was trying to create.

The conversation shifted to Katie stirring up drama with Brooke and Ridge due to her Logan name choice, but she justified it and stood her ground.

As Eric grew increasingly excited about Katie’s venture, he decided he wanted to do more than just consult.

Eric insisted he’d come on board as a designer and that they’d do this together.

Since Eric wanted to help Katie succeed, he hyped up her plans and declared that they were going to launch Logan.

In the Forrester design office, Dylan (Sydney Bullock) played up how wonderful it’d be to score a job there and work in the same building with Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) as well as Will Spencer (Crew Morrow).

After Dylan reflected on everything Electra and Will had done for her, Electra assured her of their friendship and embraced her.

Once Dylan took off, Will and Electra shared a make-out session since they finally had some alone time.
