The Bold and the Beautiful Tuesday, July 29 Recap: Luna Confirmed Alive – Li’s Leave of Absence Puzzles Finn

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Tuesday, July 29, reveals that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was confirmed to be alive on-screen after Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) leave of absence puzzled John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

At the hospital, Finn stopped Li as she walked by with a big box of stuff.

Li claimed she’d packed up since she was taking a leave of absence, so Finn was confused over the news since it was so unlike his mom.

Despite Li normally being a workaholic, she acted like she needed some time to process everything that had happened with Luna and Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) before that.

Talk turned to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) taking some time away with the kids.

Finn would miss them, but he knew they would be back.

However, Finn couldn’t help but think about the fact that Luna almost made it so he never saw his wife again.

After Finn threw more questions at Li about her leave of absence, she ultimately said she needed to take care of something and suggested it should’ve been done a long time ago.

Next on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Li made her way to the location where she had Luna stashed in a hospital bed.

After Li took medical supplies out of her box, she pulled back the curtain to reveal Luna and pressed some buttons on the equipment she was hooked up to.

Once Eric Forrester (John McCook), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrived in Naples, they enjoyed a welcome party on a rooftop.

Meanwhile, Nick met with a man about the boat he needed for his upcoming ride with Brooke.

There was a mechanic named Luigi fiddling with the steering wheel and working on the boat’s hydraulics, but Nick got reassurance that the boat would be ready in time.

Nick eventually tracked down Brooke and gave her an enthusiastic Italian greeting. Brooke agreed to fit in some fun with Nick on this trip, so he said it was a date and kissed her as Eric glared nearby.

At the Forrester mansion, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) talked about how much they missed Eric and Ridge now that they’d landed in Italy.

Donna wound up talking about Ridge being the only guy who made Brooke happy, but Taylor thought Nick could be a real option for her instead.

Although Donna pointed out that Nick wasn’t Brooke’s first choice, Taylor insisted that was too bad and played up the fact that Ridge was taken.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Taylor has some heartbreak in her future, so stay tuned for updates on how Ridge and Brooke’s inevitable reunion will affect her.
