You can bet Hope will worry about the fallout of this shocker since it could tear so multiple relationships apart.

Hope will no doubt fret over Katie’s already fractured bond with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) along with Eric’s connection to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

The fact that Eric is working for a new competitor will leave Hope with plenty of concerns about how all this will play out.

At the Forrester mansion, Ridge and Brooke will remain curious about Eric’s stress levels as well as all the sketching materials they’ve just walked in on.

Eric will act like he’s entitled to keep designing in his spare time, but Brooke and Ridge won’t get why he’s pushing himself so hard when he’s no longer working at Forrester Creations.

It doesn’t look like Ridge and Brooke will fully connect the dots until Katie and Bill arrive with updates.

Katie and Bill are going to expose Eric’s designer status, so Eric’s secret will finally be in Brooke and Ridge’s hands soon enough.

Ridge and Brooke will reel over this Eric curveball since they didn’t think he was capable of something like this.

It’ll feel like a massive betrayal and set the stage for some escalating conflict in the coming episodes.
