B&B just set up a major turning point, so we should discuss how difficult circumstances could bring Brooke and Steffy together.

The December 24 episode perhaps brought a little preview of what’s to come.

As Brooke and Steffy embraced the holiday spirit, they shared a hug on Christmas Eve.

Considering how much animosity there’s been between Steffy and Brooke over the years, that hug was a big deal.

It could be a clue about Brooke and Steffy becoming allies instead of enemies in the coming months.

Once Katie Spencer’s (Heather Tom) fashion house rises up and hopefully offers some real competition, Forrester Creations will need all hands on deck.

Infighting at the company won’t be helpful, so it makes sense for Steffy and Brooke to truly join forces.

In fact, Steffy may be impressed and grateful over Brooke’s Forrester devotion.

We all know Brooke sides with Ridge above all others, so Steffy may approve of her taking a bold stand against Katie.

Steffy has learned to tolerate Brooke, but her mother-in-law obviously isn’t her favorite person.

After everything that happened with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), Steffy still has issues with Brooke and may never fully approve of Ridge’s marriage to her.

That said, Steffy has learned to live with Ridge’s choice.

Based on that hug we mentioned, it proves that Brooke and Steffy can come together despite their past problems.

Steffy may ultimately be glad to have Brooke on their side once the competing fashion house drama explodes.

Brooke and Steffy may partner up on some strategies as they try to make sure Forrester Creations comes out on top.
