The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge’s Bridal Swap, Trades Taylor for Brooke in Quickie Italy Wedding?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is setting Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) up for a huge fall. To be fair, Taylor is ignoring red flags and looking awfully desperate thanks to her unconventional marriage proposal.
Even so, Ridge bears some blame for making all these grand promises that he won’t be able to keep.
Despite Ridge’s pledge to marry Taylor and make up for all the time they’ve lost, they won’t get their happy ending as a couple.
Ridge put that ring on Taylor’s finger and agreed to tie the knot, but it’s doubtful they’ll actually say vows and make it official.
Based on where this storyline is headed, Ridge stands a far better chance of marrying Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) instead.
B&B spoilers say Ridge will pursue Brooke in Italy by late July, so he’ll go up against Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) there.
Nick will offer Brooke an engagement ring at some point, so that could motivate Ridge to make a marriage offer of his own.
It’s easy to imagine Ridge pushing Brooke to tie the knot with him – not Nick.
After Ridge and Taylor’s engagement falls apart, Ridge may make a bridal switch and beg Brooke to be his wife.
Since Brooke and Ridge have honestly had enough weddings for a lifetime, B&B might want to do something simple for them this time around.
Instead of making a huge fuss over their nuptials, Ridge and Brooke might go for a more intimate occasion.
Perhaps Brooke and Ridge could have a private ceremony that’s just the two of them plus an officiant.
Then again, Ridge and Brooke could say their vows on their own and just make the news official later.
Whatever the case, there must be a reason why Taylor’s suddenly so insistent on marrying Ridge.
It may pave the way for a bridal swap and Ridge’s quickie Italy wedding with Brooke depending on how it all goes down.
