Luna clearly thought she was on her way to evading the cops and keeping her freedom, but then a vehicle suddenly appeared.
It came flying straight at Luna, so she could suffer some pretty severe injuries as a result.
If Luna ends up brain dead, maybe some of her organs could still be donated.
That brings us to some intriguing hints that the show’s been dropping lately regarding Katie.
B&B has definitely been playing up the possibility of a Katie medical crisis due to all the Luna stress.
There have been some clues regarding Katie’s fragile heart and whether it can take all this.
Of course, Katie has also been running like a madwoman to find Luna in this big manhunt.
That could add to the heart strain for Katie and perhaps lead to her collapsing soon enough.
From a medical standpoint, it’s been enough years since Katie’s last transplant for her to realistically need another one now.
Katie might find herself in need of a new heart, so could she get Luna’s ticker following this car drama?
If so, Luna could get a little redemption on her way out.
It wouldn’t make up for all the horrible things Luna did when she was alive, but at least her demise could save the life of Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) mother.
There’s no guarantee that’s how things will play out, but there must be a reason why Katie’s heart issues have become a focus recently.
