The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Is Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester Finnegan) leaving B&B? There’s some Steffy 2025 exit buzz that’s certainly had fans talking on social media.
Wood resumed filming in September after taking maternity leave for the birth of her fifth child.
Many viewers are glad to have Steffy back on-screen, but how long will she stick around?
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but there’s been some online chatter about Jacqueline MacInnes Wood leaving in December 2025.
If that’s the case, then B&B writers may have to start rapidly steering Steffy’s character toward an exit door.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was almost killed off before the show reversed course with a brain tumor fake-out.
Although Liam survived in the end, Steffy may not be so lucky if the show has to deliver an abrupt, tragic exit.
Could Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) go off the rails and make Steffy her target once more?
On the other hand, Steffy is a pretty important character, and it would be cruel to kill off another one of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes’ (Rebecca Budig) children.
Maybe the show could send Steffy off canvas and ultimately pave the way for a recast.
Regardless, it’ll be a huge deal if Wood indeed decides to leave B&B behind.
Wood is a popular performer who’s proven to be a big draw for many viewers, so the show could face a bit of a blow.
That said, there were plenty of other storylines and characters to take center stage while Wood was on maternity leave.
The show must go on, so Steffy’s potential exit could lead to other characters getting more focus once again.
Although Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s possible departure isn’t confirmed news at this point, it never hurts to speculate about the buzz and be aware of any looming cast changes that might play out.
