The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that many fans want the REAL Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) back. Has this B&B character become too weak and gullible?
“Dollar Bill” was once the kind of guy who always seemed to have the upper hand and stay a step ahead of the game.
Bill was a smart, fierce character to be feared, but the writing has gone downhill for him in recent storylines.
First, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) duped Bill into thinking he was her father through a rigged DNA test.
Even after the truth came out and Luna committed her first wave of crimes, Bill fell for Luna’s manipulation and got her out of prison.
Luna’s house arrest eventually became a full-blown pardon, but we all know how that turned out!
It’s Bill’s fault that Luna was able to spiral out of control and hurt people he cares about – including Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Now Bill’s not seeing the obvious scam that’s right in front of him.
We get that Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) is a respected doctor, but Bill’s still ignoring all kinds of red flags when it comes to Liam’s experimental procedure.
Of course, you could argue that Bill’s desperation is part of the problem here. Bill was searching for any hope he could cling to, so Grace took advantage of that.
Even so, Bill isn’t supposed to be someone who’s easy to fool. The “Dollar Bill” we used to know would’ve smelled this scam a mile away and pumped the brakes on Grace at some point.
Bill is in for a rude awakening once it’s revealed that Grace duped him big time.
It appears Liam’s entire tumor ordeal is bogus, including the tumor itself and this “miraculous” surgery.
Once Bill gets updates on the truth, maybe it could serve as a reset for the character.
Bill may make Grace pay and get his old fire back, so at least something good could come out of this storyline.
