The Bold and the Beautiful: 4 Forgotten Leading Men Deserve Stories, These Characters Need More Drama
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that at least four male characters could use more airtime and some real storylines. Let’s talk about some leading men who have been cast aside and how the show might do a better job of using them in the future.
1) Finn
There was a time when John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was right at the center of the action, but now he mostly pops up to parade around shirtless or make out with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Of course, Finn occasionally hits Il Giardino for takeout and an awkward encounter with Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown), but none of this counts as a real storyline.
It’d be nice to see Tanner Novlan get more drama to work with, so maybe Finn will eventually get a new crisis to tackle with Steffy or a medical mystery to solve at the hospital.
2) Liam
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is another character who’s fallen into that trap of a happy soap life equaling time on the backburner!
Ever since Liam remarried Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), B&B hasn’t been giving the blissful newlyweds much to do.
Liam found out about Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) Logan designer gig, but that didn’t matter much in the end.
Although it’s been sweet to see Liam and Hope kick off a joyful chapter, there’ll come a point when some new obstacles have to arise.
Scott Clifton is a popular actor who many fans feel deserve leading man status, so perhaps B&B will get back to that sooner or later.
3) Zende
It’s sad to see Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) relegated to officiating wedding ceremonies instead of getting any drama of his own.
Zende could be an excellent leading man if given the chance, but the show doesn’t seem interested in giving him good material to work with.
It’d be great to see that change, so stay tuned to see if Delon de Metz might get a real storyline again down the road.
4) Thomas
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is off-screen in Paris at the moment, but he’s still working on Hope’s line and plans to return to Los Angeles when necessary.
There’s room for Thomas to become a key player once more.
Some viewers are even rooting for a Thomas recast if that’s what it takes to get the character back permanently.
However, Matthew Atkinson also has plenty of fans rooting for him to work out a deal and become a bigger part of the show.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say these talented actors and their characters could use more substantial content, so stick with us for more news on what the future holds.
