‘Sister Wives’ Update: Kody Brown Packed Off from Three Spouses – Guess Where He Really Lives?
A Sister Wives update offers Kody Brown info that clears up what many suspected was true for a while. This week on Season 17, Episode 5, The Last Family Gathering, some interesting tidbits dropped about where the family patriarch rests his head at night. Here’s what was said on the TLC show.
Sister Wives Update: More Drama After Kody Brown Packed off By Christine Brown
As last season ended on TLC, we saw Kody Brown’s hackles raised as Christine Brown packed his stuff into boxes. She piled them in the garage without warning. That’s what happens when you tell your wife you’ll never be intimate with her again and shrug your shoulders…
Yet he still acted shocked. Now that Christine’s done with Kody, but still appearing on Sister Wives, it seems her chief role is spilling tea. Plus, it’s pretty fun to see her happy. In her confessionals, filmed after the season when she was in Utah and settling into her Kody-less new life, she’s glowing.

And those scenes are inserted near shots of Kody huffing and puffing at a family get-together about still being angry that Christine dumped him. But then he turns around and tries to lowkey get rid of another of his Sister Wives in this episode although Robyn Brown swears he didn’t mean it.
Meri Brown Invited to Move to Utah and Leave Her Husband?
We’ve seen in Season 17, Meri Brown’s grief over losing her mother, Bonnie Ahlstrom. Not only was that her parent but also her business parnter. Because Bonnie lived at and helped run her B&B, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn. Now, with her mom gone, Meri temporarily closed the inn.
So, Kody suggested that Meri just move up to Parowan, Utah. That really took her aback. She’s grieving and it seemed to her that Kody said okay, byeee. Of course, Sister Wives watchers know she’s another wife he’s not sharing a bed with — and has not for years.
Robyn rushes to Kody’s defense saying he “thinks out loud”. So, was he just thinking about shipping one of his spouses out of state to get her out from underfoot? Meri’s in tears but from what Christine says in this episode, her husband’s not in her life much anyway.
Kody’s Packing Stuff out of Janelle Brown’s on Sister Wives
A big part of the fifth episode of Sister Wives Season 17 is Janelle Brown getting organized to move back out to Coyote Pass. She’s bought herself an RV and plans to live out there since she can’t find a rental place and wants to move forward with building her home on their land.
It’s interesting because she talks about her plans out there: “I”m moving out to the trailer in six weeks.” Or “I’m moving onto the property by the end of June… ” and “I’m hoping to break ground by the end of winter”. She talks about herself as an individual, solo person. Meanwhile, Kody kept saying “us” and “we”.

<p>But Janelle made quite clear on <em>Sister Wives</em> that it’s her money she’s scrimped and saved to build on the property. She’ll erect a casita (a garage with small living space above it). But will live in her RV until then. And she was clear that the RV is for her and Savanah Brown to live in — no mention of Kody.</p>
<h2>Sister Wives: Kody & His Stuff at Robyn’s – Janelle Says He’s Not “Acting as My Husband”</h2>
<p>On the episode, Kody Brown is helping by getting culverts cut into the property to protect her trailer site. But he also admits he’s out there doing work to burn off steam about the Christine split. And he’s not happy about Janelle deciding to move to the property.</p>
<p>Kody said she didn’t even make a real effort to find another rental house. Then, on <em>Sister Wives</em>, he said, “Janelle does things frequently that aren’t like a married husband and wife”. And she goes even further saying, “He’s no longer acting as my husband here.”</p>
<p>Next, he gripes about having to move all the stuff he had at Janelle’s place over to Robyn’s. So that means he was still living (or existing to some extent) at his second wife’s house. And then Christine says in confessional that her ex ” always had a lot of stuff. In Vegas, he had four houses to put his stuff in.”</p>

Then, she gets to the juicy part on Sister Wives. “Now, he doesn’t have stuff at Meri’s. He doesn’t have stuff at my house. And he can’t put his stuff at Janelle’s cause she has a little tiny trailer. So, it’s either in storage somewhere or at Robyn’s.”
You live where your stuff lives, right? It’s pretty unusual that Kody Brown has nothing at the home of his first wife, though. Hmm. Is more than one prong of this plural marriage breaking apart? We’ll keep watching to see.
