‘Sister Wives’ Tell-All Next Week: Christine Confirms Divorce and Kody Gets Mad
Sister Wives: One on One is the Tell-All for Season 16 and Christine Brown confirms that she got a “divorce” from Kody Brown. It’s been a couple of years since TLC had a reunion show and this one’s pretty bizarre by the looks of it. Here’s what to expect and when you can watch it.
Sister Wives Gets a Tell-All for First Time Since 2019
If you’re a longtime fan of the series, you might know a little of the history of its season enders. When the Browns first began back in 2010 with Season 1, there was no Tell-All or reunion show. It would take five more seasons for it to happen.
The first Sister Wives Tell-All aired at the end of Season 6 on February 23, 2014. Then, seasons 7-10 had one-part reunion shows at the close of each. Season 11 brought the first two-part Tell-All airing January 22 and 29, 2017.
The two-episode reunions carried on for Season 12 and 13 also. Season 12 also offered up a follow-up show after the Tell-All called Polygamy 101 on April 1, 2018. Then, April 14 and 21 of 2019 were the last Tell-Alls wrapping Season 13 as COVID began to heat up.
Seasons 14 and 15 didn’t have season enders. And given Kody Brown’s paranoia about the virus, it might have been one of his rules. Since he didn’t want the family together, a reunion show would be counterintuitive. But now, it’s back with Sukanya Krishnan as host.
What is the Date for Sister Wives: One on One and What Will Christine Brown Reveal?
In a drastic change for the series, the adults will not share a couch for the Sister Wives Season 16 Tell-All. Instead, it’s a one on one of host Sukanya Krishnan and each of the adults in turn. You may recall her as hosting Love Games (90 Day Fiance digital spinoff) on Discovery Plus.
Sukanya chats with each other rather than together. Of huge interest to fans is what Christine Brown says. In the last regular-season episode, Christine packs Kody out of her house. She piles his stuff in the garage when Kody refused intimacy with her. She wouldn’t settle.

Now, on the reunion show, Sukanya asks about what happened next. Christine tells her that they’re divorced. Also, on Season 16, Episode 10, Christine Brown explained that the church will grant a “spiritual divorce”. It’s allowed when plural marriages don’t work out.
In her Sister Wives Tell-All segment, Janelle Brown says Christine was “never going to have a functioning marriage” with Kody. She seems Team Christine as she says her former co-wife had a hard choice. Although Christine says it’s been the “hardest time” of her life, she seems hopeful.
Kody Brown Upset by Sukanya Krishnan’s Accusations on Tell-All
When it’s his turn to face the host, Kody Brown’s defensive. Sukanya calls him out saying Kody “emotionally abandoned” his kids. He doesn’t like that at all and claps back on her. But that seems to echo the sentiment of all his spouses, aside from Robyn Brown.
Kody also calls out his issues with Meri Brown. He says flat out, “Meri had an affair”. Of course, viewers should recall the infamous catfish scandal. It began late in Season 9 of Sister Wives and consumed most of the following season as well. Clearly, Kody’s not over it.
Image Credit: TLCAs for Meri, she says on One on One that if he wants to give up, he can. Then, Kody addresses the divorce dilemma. It’s significant that he denies saying he told Christine they’d “never be intimate again”. But he also says he never asked her not to leave him.
Meanwhile, Robyn Brown cries and says you shouldn’t give up “when you haven’t actually tried”. But we’ll have to wait and see if she’s talking about Kody Brown, Christine Brown, or both on the reunion show.
Sister Wives: One on One airs Sunday, January 30. Check Soap Dirt for more news on the Browns as it happens.
