Of course, once Robyn and Kody Brown revealed they have a nanny, it floored the other Sister Wives. And the audience as well. Kody went about warding off COVID in extreme measures. Fans thought they would see Robyn and her kids in HAZMAT suits when stepping outdoors.

But that’s not the case. Photos of the Sister Wives patriarch and Robyn Brown maskless and shopping appeared. From the size of the bags they carried, it looked as if Robyn or the nanny had a lot of wiping down to do once they’re home.

Or at least that’s what the list indicates. The one Kody passed around during the last Sister Wives episode. As Soap Dirt mentioned, many believe the list is Robyn’s concoction. But she swears it’s not. Still, it was the nanny reveal that stopped the other wives in their tracks. It also looks as if TLC got a bit proactive around the news that Robyn has a nanny.

Is Nanny a Code Word?

Sister Wives has been around long enough for the people behind the scenes to know how the viewers think. So, with Christine Brown leaving the family and the nanny now popping up, what next?

They thought the possibility of a new wife to replace Christine would rise to the buzz level. If they did, well – they were right.

Fans of the Sister Wives series learned that Robyn Brown had a female nanny. And some thought it was a code for taking on another wife. Although many of the other fans did not agree.

They seemed to think Robyn would never allow this. But TLC seemed to cut that off before it blew up to epic proportions. They threw something in to sway that train of thought.

Did anybody catch how the word “husband” got tossed out there? It came right after Robyn’s nanny emerged in the conversation. Since Sister Wives is a show about a man with a few wives, another husband doesn’t fit the mold.

The family is fractured now. But Kody is the only one allowed to talk about it. So, fans were privy to the tidbit that the nanny’s husband does the grocery shopping. Why is that so important?

Perhaps this came out for a few reasons. The first being this nanny is isolating as well. Or maybe the main reason was to ward off wife number five rumors.

That seemed like a rather odd thing to bring up. Especially as everyone waited to hear the answer to – What does Robyn Brown’s nanny do for them?

Well, Kody gave a quick synopsis on what this woman’s duties are within their home. She helps Robyn Brown out with the kids. She also helps homeschool the little ones, Ariella Brown, 5, and Solomon Brown, 10.

Manpower Goes to Waste?

Kody is home pretty much full-time now and Robyn Brown has two teenaged daughters at home. So, that seems like a bunch of manpower going to waste, according to the Sister Wives viewers.

Furthermore, there sat Meri Brown waiting on the edge of her seat for the starting flag to raise. She waited for this so she could come over to Robyn’s house as well. Many fans asked why not have Meri there to help. She wanted an invite after following the Sister Wives COVID rules down to the letter.

But the answer was vague as Meri Brown waits for the phone call before she graces their doorstep. But you have to admit the crew behind the Sister Wives sure didn’t waste any time with their damage control. When it came to the nanny – she has a husband who fetches the groceries. So, there you go.
