‘Sister Wives’: Robyn Brown Rattles Fans With Reveal of Long-Held Secret
Sister Wives star Robyn Brown shared a secret that she kept under wraps for years but after hearing it, some fans thought it was a bad idea. That’s because this secret didn’t just affect Robyn, it had the potential to hurt some feelings.
But in fairness to Robyn, the youngest Sister Wives bride opened up in an attempt to help the Brown kids. Considering the strict church rules they follow, this had to tough for Robyn to share.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Delivers Sermon
When Kody Brown first moved his big family to Las Vegas from Utah, like-minded polygamous families were few and far between in that area. So, they didn’t have a temple to attend.
Instead, Kody Brown became his own preacher and held his own church services for the Sister Wives family. By now you’re probably thinking, this guy wears a lot of hats.

<p>So, it was during one of these services that Kody Brown requested that his bride Robyn Brown give a sermon. He wanted her to address this lesson to the older kids. The theme – purity. So, the kids got an earful of the perils of not saving themselves for marriage.</p>
<h2><strong>A Common Tale Told</strong></h2>
<p>While Robyn Brown’s story wasn’t unique, she told her tale, the same tale millions of women can tell. But fans were uncomfortable because of who her <em>Sister Wives</em> sermon addressed.</p>
<p>Robyn intended to make an impact on the Brown kids who were of dating age at that time. This took place back in 2013, so Maddie Brown, Mykelti Brown, and Aspen Brown were years away from getting married.</p>
<p>Apparently, Kody Brown decided to ask Robyn Brown to step up and talk to the kids. When the <em>Sister Wives</em> spouse was done, she made the impression Kody was going for on a few of the girls. But it looks like one son might need some one-on-one time talking with dad.</p>

<p>Apparently, this was Kody Brown’s way of skirting the individual birds and bees talk since a lot of his kids were teenagers. Robyn’s story had quite an impact on these kids.</p>
<p>She started her story off generically. It was about an unnamed girl. But as the <em>Sister Wives</em> mom continued, she got emotional. So, it was obvious she spoke about her own personal experience. Robyn Brown also admitted to this as well.</p>

What happened to Robyn wasn’t anything to get upset over. The reveal itself wasn’t what rattled the fans. In fact, many gave her kudos for sharing this info.
But fans were concerned about Robyn’s kids being in the room when the youngest of the Sister Wives offered up her tale. So, this started a commotion with some followers of the show.
So, What Did Robyn Brown Say?
It seems this Sister Wives mother used a different angle for her birds and the bees talk. With the family gathered in Meri Brown’s Vegas living room, Robyn began.
Robyn Brown started by explaining why you don’t give away your purity until marriage is signed, sealed, and delivered. Her story was about a young girl in college who lost her way when she felt rebellious.

<p>Robyn called this story “the biggest mistake of her life”. She told the kids, who intently listened to her, how she gave her purity to someone who “begged for it” but said the guy “didn’t respect it”.</p>
<p>So, after they slept together, this young girl became pregnant. She found herself in despair but ended up believing the right thing to do was to marry this boyfriend. So, she did. But she didn’t love him.</p>
<h2><strong>Sister Wives: Then Comes Baby</strong></h2>
<p>She was pregnant with her son Dayton at the time. She claims that giving away her purity was the worst mistake she made in her life. So while Robyn revealed she had premarital relations with the father of her children, she also decided to tell them her regrets about it.</p>
<p>What the fans worried about was how her kids from that marriage, especially Dayton, would take this. On one hand, Robyn says it’s the biggest mistake that she ever made. Most people realized what she really meant.</p>

So there’s no doubt her biggest mistake led to one of her life’s blessings, her son Dayton. Still, at the time, some fans thought she could have handled that a bit differently to make sure feelings weren’t hurt.
In a nutshell, Robyn meant to pass along to the Sister Wives teens that just one mistake like hers can form your future. A couple of the Brown girls said they will definitely wait after listening to their youngest mother.
But Hunter Brown said he doesn’t see a problem with getting intimate with a girl before marriage as long as the two are in love. So, Robyn Brown shared this story with her family as well as the Sister Wives audience.
Some fans applauded her, while others thought she could have left off the “biggest mistake of my life” part.
