‘Sister Wives’: Kody Wants to Add New Spouse in Season 17 – Fans Creeped Out
Sister Wives star Kody Brown just offered up his own brand of creepy for the fans of this TLC reality series that kicks off Season 17 on Sunday night.
The latest previews popping up ahead of the new season have fans wondering. They question what’s going on with the patriarch of the Brown clan as his way of thinking sounds really skewed today.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Won’t Let Go
One of the strangest things ever to come out of Kody Brown’s mouth popped up on a new video, which is below in this article. He sat at a table conversing with Christine Brown. She told him that she was leaving, but he wasn’t willing to let her go.
His third wife pleads with him for an answer to a question. She wants to know why he is so bent on keeping her as part of the Sister Wives family when it’s clear that they no longer act like a married couple.
Kody offers a bizarre answer, citing his kids as the reason. They have six kids together, and he would like Christine to stay with the family in Flagstaff for that reason. But to many viewers, this makes no sense. That’s because Truely Brown, 12, is the only child Christine has left at home.
All the other kids are adults and either married or in college. But all are living away from their mom. Some even live in different states than their Sister Wives mom when the new season rolls out.
So, Christine sticking around does not assure Kody will be near his kids. He’d be near Truely, but unlikely none of the other five. So, fans see him gaslighting her with this ploy. But it gets better, or worse depending upon how you look at this.
Kody Offers Creepy Solution
While Christine argues that she can’t stay in a marriage that lacks intimacy, a light bulb seems to go off in Kody’s head. First, he tells his wife that a lot of couples who don’t share intimacy anymore still stay married.
Wife number three made it very clear that she’s not at all interested in a marriage without intimacy. Then comes the shocker from the Sister Wives’ husband of four. Fans now wonder if that lightbulb glowing in Kody Brown’s head burned too bright and fried something.

<p>Kody tells the mother of six that she can find another guy, get married, and then make him part of their <em>Sister Wives</em> family. So, Kody proposes that they tweak polygamy by adding another arm of monogamy into his lifestyle.</p>
<p>His relationship with Robyn Brown sounds monogamous today by everything said by him and his wives. So, that is his answer to his estranged wife, find a guy, marry, and bring him home to join the Brown family.</p>
<h2>Sister Wives: What Does This Say About Christine Brown</h2>
<p>Christine said Kody cares more about Robyn Brown than he does her. If she was looking for evidence to this, well fans see it here. Hearing Kody’s idea on how to keep his family together gave fans plenty of ammunition for some Kody Brown bashing.</p>
<p>Words such as “moron” and “stupid” bubbled up in fans’ comments. But this also tells the viewers what he thinks about Christine. It became obvious Christine didn’t oblige his wishes, as she’s long gone from Flagstaff today.</p>
<p>But how did he think she was supposed to sell this to a potential mate if she did buy into the life he was selling?</p>
<p>Fans had a ball with this thought. A few wanted Christine to take Kody Brown up on this just so she could bring a man into the family who could put Kody in his place.</p>
<p>It sounds like Christine has every intention of one day finding a man all her own. But it doesn’t appear as if she’ll make her new man part of Kody Brown’s extended family.</p>
