Sister Wives star Kody Brown talked about finances or lack of since he first graced the scene over a decade ago with his TLC reality series. Now with Sister Wives Season 16 on the way, it looks like Kody just added more evidence that money remains tight. The things he will do to make a buck shouldn’t surprise fans.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Still Sings Money Woes?

Sister Wives adults receive salaries for their reality show. But from what reports indicate, their salaries are paid at the end of the filming of a season. With Season 16 on the way, they’re probably still filming right now.

This could be one of the many reasons that money is tight today for Kody Brown and his brood. Soap Dirt reported weeks ago how Christine Brown and Janelle Brown joined Cameo, which is a site where you make personalized fan videos for a fee.

They’d been doing this for several months before Kody Brown hopped aboard. Now he too makes videos but he asks double the fee of what his wives Janelle and Christine get.

Giving It Their All?

It looks like Kody Brown went overboard attempting to reel fans back to the Sister Wives show. His behavior is described as atrocious on air by many of the viewers. But last season he seemed to be well aware of this. He offered the tweet below describing what he’s done.

It looks as if they’re trying hard to entice the Sister Wives fans their way. For a short time, they had a sale on these videos.

From there they started a new gig with the same video place. Now Kody Brown and two of his  wives offer videos for businesses and events.

For personalized videos, Kody gets $79 and his two wives, who also offer this service, each gets $35. But if you want the new business or event video, it will cost you $420 to hire Kody for a video. Or you could go economical and pay $235 for either Janelle or Christine to send a message.

The patriarch of the Sister Wives seems to be invested in making money on this. Now if you request and pay for a video, it is ready fast. Kody now has a 24-hour turnaround posted for his videos.

Apparently, before now, it could take a couple of days to get your video message from Kody or his two wives. So, it looks as if not only Kody but his two wives are also serious about making some money from this. All three now offer expedited video messages.

Surprisingly some of the other popular family members who would do well haven’t tried this yet. Meri Brown and Robyn Brown haven’t jumped on the video message bandwagon. But neither have the adult kids of the Sister Wives clan.
